The expanse of this beach surpasses Hanioti's, yet it remains a modest one. The hues of the sea are truly breathtaking. However, even in September, you must pay 10 euros for an umbrella and sunbed, with no beverages included. If it is nearby, it may be an option. Unfortunately, Koursaros beach bar has monopolized it. The server became agitated and irritable when I did not comply with his demands. They charge whatever they want on the spot and their demeanor is not customer-focused. It is more like I am the boss, you must pay and do as I say! Sadly, we traveled 80 kilometers to reach this beach. Never again! You must pay 10-20 euros for sunbeds and a minimum of 10 euros per person, amounting to at least 30 euros for a family.
This beach is perfect for sunbathing and offers a peaceful atmosphere with fewer tourists. On clear days, you can even catch a glimpse of Mount Athos in the distance. However, it may not be the best choice for families with young children due to the slippery rocks and potentially unsafe surroundings. If you're looking for a safer option, I recommend heading to the southern part of the beach where the rocks are less slippery.
We were let down by certain aspects of the service. For a five-star resort, some parts of the experience fell short, and the food was just average. The most challenging part was the exorbitant pricing of drinks and additional services, including the spa. Being so isolated and far from any local town or supermarket makes it very difficult to leave the resort to explore or purchase drinks. It's unfortunate because the rooms were lovely and the location was beautiful, but I won't be coming back.
We visited the beach at Cape Kanistro. It was a very peaceful spot, perhaps not as well-known, but we enjoyed it.
The beach may not be the epitome of perfection, as it lies along the roadside and is adorned with stones that have moss and algae growing on them, making it a tad slippery. It may not be the most suitable option for young children, but it holds a special place in our hearts as it is where my son caught his first fish using a speargun.
