Review by Alexander Ehrlich. It is located on a natural, fine-grained sandy beach. There is plenty of paid parking. Beach chairs are available for rent. On the edges there are cliffs that shine illuminated by the sun. Here the beach becomes more overgrown (in the west) and more stony in the east. For bathing, the water is warm and very shallow. The tide with ebb and flow is particularly noticeable at the Wohlenberger Wiek, as it is often intensified by wind. There are several toilets, garbage disposal and regular beach cleaning. A beach fee or visitor's tax is due for maintenance. The beach is well served with gastronomy (fish smokehouse, pizzeria, burger restaurant, beach bar). There is a sailing school in Gramkow with rental of SUP board, pedal boats. Surfing and kite courses are also offered here. At the Tamila Beachbar there is a dog beach. Around the Wohlenberger Wiek there are many holiday apartments and with the campsites Ostseequelle.camp and Liebeslaube as well as Beckerwitz good opportunities to spend your holiday or weekend there. Despite the rather Nordic vegetation, the bay has a species-rich wildlife. These include mainly wading and waterfowl as well as migratory birds, which stop here on their way to the breeding grounds. Please do not disturb the birds and keep your dogs on a leash. Please do not surf and kite through flocks of birds. The beach is a place of recreation. Barbecuing and playing music is not allowed.
Ah, the quaint little beach with its soft, sandy shores and gentle slope into the water. You can wade in for a good 50 meters before the water even reaches your knees. It's almost like a kiddie pool for grown-ups! But alas, paradise comes at a price - the beach access fee. And don't even think about finding a public restroom nearby. So, be sure to bring your wallet and your bladder control.
The beach is absolutely stunning with its sand, and the section by the sea is simply delightful.
