This secluded beach is a true treasure waiting to be discovered! Its rich history adds to its allure, if you take the time to delve into the past of this area.
We only spent a day at the beach. I suggest checking out the beach walk to see the fossils and caves, taking a swim in the beautiful blue pool, and playing some ten pin bowling. The resort areas I saw were in good condition and well taken care of. The horses also looked well looked after. We visited on a Sunday during the off-season, so there was plenty of parking available. The place wasn't too crowded, but had a nice buzz of activity.
During holiday season, Munster Swim beach is a better option as the local crowd can make the beach quite crowded. The Glenmore area is generally rocky.
