Glen Eden Estate - all beaches

Undoubtedly one of the finest beaches in South Africa, this stunning stretch of coastline boasts powdery white sand that feels like silk beneath your feet. A magnificent boardwalk stretches out before you, inviting you to take a leisurely stroll and soak up the breathtaking views. If you're looking to cool off, the tidal pool offers a refreshing respite from the heat, and the vigilant lifeguards ensure that your swim is a safe one. All in all, a beach that truly lives up to its reputation as one of the best in the country.

This beach is perfect for families with children. It offers plenty of open sand, a shallow lagoon with no strong currents, and numerous rock pools to explore. Additionally, it is an excellent spot for surfing. I had a fantastic time taking a surf lesson with a local surf school called Endless Sessions Surf. They provided us with boards and brought us to this beach.

Fantastic holiday experience. However, you need to purchase drinking water as the local water isn't pleasant. There are no nearby convenience stores, except for a small and pricey one at the beach entrance. Despite this, the area is clean with stunning flora and fauna.
