This beach is a true gem, with its breathtaking scenery and crystal-clear waters that will leave you in awe. The soft sand and gentle waves make it the perfect place to relax and soak up the sun. You can take a refreshing dip in the ocean, or simply stroll along the shore and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. This beach is truly a must-visit destination for anyone who loves the beauty of nature and the tranquility of the sea.

Upon discovering Muirim's check-in time was at 4pm, I stumbled upon a serene location to spend my afternoon. Despite the wind's presence, the temperature remained comfortable. I decided to take a leisurely stroll along the white sand beach, and the winter scenery created unforgettable moments. On the way down to the beach, there's a cozy cafe that adds to the experience. Sipping coffee while admiring the vast sea is a memory I will cherish.

You might want to keep in mind that the beach could use some cleaning up and there isn't much shelter from the sun, despite the fact that you are spending a lot of time there. However, the beach is spacious and peaceful.

The beach is surrounded by a natural arch of sand dunes, creating a perfect spot for kids to explore the ocean's diverse ecosystem, teeming with fish, shellfish, and seaweed. The area boasts several guesthouses, with a pine forest and a small sea valley nestled between them and the beach, providing a safe and refreshing camping experience with a view of the seaside. Unlike other beaches on the west coast that feature white sand, this beach is unique in its fine sand and abundant pebbles, covering a vast area spanning 39,000 square meters, with a length of 1,300 meters and a width of 30 meters.

This location is ideal for families seeking a unique tidal flat adventure, rather than a traditional swimming experience.

As the scorching summer comes to an end, I find it difficult to enjoy a beach without any shade that can provide some respite from the heat. Due to the pandemic, it has been a while since I last visited the East Sea side which was once off-limits. Being a beach enthusiast, I visited to check if the winds were strong enough to provide some relief. I am happy to say that I came away satisfied with the refreshing sea breeze.
