The municipalities of Playa d'Aro and Calonge have allowed dogs to come to this small cove, without measuring the consequences of it... This beautiful beach has become a nightmare, dogs are let loose, they bark, run everywhere in small groups with very lax supervision from the owners. They defecate everywhere. This place is becoming very unsanitary because in addition to dog droppings, the access is invaded by the rubbish of the hotel above which maintains its garbage containers very badly.

The beach had a great sandy shoreline. When we arrived, it was quite crowded, but there was still plenty of space on the beach and to swim in the sea. The waters were shallow, making it ideal for paddling. Snorkeling was great too, with plenty of fish to spot. Parking was easy to find and inexpensive (€3 for the day). There were also a few places to get food and drinks from on the beach, which we highly recommend.

A great experience, that's for sure. If you're looking for a place to relax and take in some sun, this is the spot. Nothing quite beats the feeling of sand between your toes and the smell of the ocean in the air. If you're seeking a spot to chill and soak up some rays, this is it. Nothing quite compares to the sensation of the sand beneath your feet and the salty sea breeze. A truly unforgettable experience!

The perfect spot for a getaway! The sand is thick and the water is so clean you can see right through it. We had a great time at the Siroco chiringuito, where the Italian chef served up some of the best pasta we've ever had. The squid and mussels were so fresh and tasty, it was hard to resist. Highly recommended!
