Koh Hong Beach

Stunning beach. It can get crowded occasionally because of tours, but it also has its quiet moments. There's a drink shop near the swing at the far end of the beach. A small shop and restaurant are located next to the restrooms. The watermelon frappe was perfect.

Koh Lao Beach

This beach is a great spot for photography enthusiasts and the water is crystal clear, making it perfect for snorkelling. The island boasts two beaches in close proximity. However, the washrooms are in dire need of maintenance and cleaning.

When venturing to this beach, opt for the northern section as it remains unspoiled and untouched by commercialization. This area boasts lush trees where visitors can unwind in hammocks beneath the cool shade. The tranquil sea is invitingly warm, making it perfect for swimming and soaking up the sun. Unlike the southern portion, there are no beachfront eateries here, but the restaurants situated along the roadside offer a variety of delicious dishes. However, if you venture all the way to the northern end, be prepared for some noise from the departing ferries and ships. The southern three-quarters of the beach are quite narrow and are bordered by a sturdy stone wall running alongside the street.

Watch out for the sneaky rocks lurking in the shallow waters! But fear not, for I have a recommendation: head to this beach at sunset and prepare to be blown away by its stunning beauty. And while you're there, show some love to the local feline residents and remember to dispose of your rubbish responsibly.

This beach is like something out of Jurassic World! You might even feel like King Kong is going to jump out at any moment. If you're a fan of movies like Jurassic Park and King Kong, you'll definitely feel the same excitement as I did. The natural beauty here is truly breathtaking. You'll find towering rock formations, trees growing out of them to create a jungle-like atmosphere, and even sea caves to explore. If you're someone who loves adventure and nature, this is an experience you won't want to miss. Take a kayak out onto the sea, go for a swim, and enjoy a day filled with life.

This magnificent beach is an absolute gem! The breathtaking scenery is truly awe-inspiring and worth every single step of the arduous climb to reach it. 😍
