Latest reviews on Tobago island's beaches

Great Courland Bay beach

The beach was well-maintained and had ample parking space.

Tobago's beach is undoubtedly one of the most sought-after destinations, and for good reason. It's an ideal spot to enjoy the warm sun and have a great time. Additionally, you can explore the buccoo reef and nylon pool on a guided tour, or experience the thrill of riding jet skis. However, it's important to bring cash since many vendors do not accept credit cards or linx. The tour costs approximately $150TTD, while jet skis are priced at $350 TTD per person for 30 minutes. One of the drawbacks is the lack of adequate and private changing rooms.

The tranquil and peaceful beach offers a delightful getaway to a tropical paradise. The seclusion of the beach adds to the charm, making it a perfect spot to relax and unwind. The restaurant on the beach serves scrumptious food that is sure to tantalize your taste buds. Additionally, there is a local vendor selling delectable sweets that are a must-try. Overall, the beach is a serene haven that promises to leave you rejuvenated and refreshed.

Undoubtedly, the public beach in T&T is a sight to behold! While the walk from the village can be moderately challenging, it is not too far of a distance. Alternatively, you could opt for a boat ride, but beware that the charges are based on their perception of your financial capability. If you do decide to go by boat, it would be wise to inquire about a trip to Pink Sand Beach, which is only reachable by boat.

Castara beach

The beach is undeniably stunning, however, it may not be the ideal choice for those who prioritize fishing as there is a depot on site. Despite this, it remains a beautiful spot. On the day of my visit, the weather was a bit cloudy. Additionally, there is a dirt oven outdoors where locals bake delectable breads and pastries that are definitely worth sampling.

Tobago's beach is a beloved destination among tourists, boasting tranquil waters perfect for a refreshing dip or a relaxing float. With an abundance of amenities, visitors can easily change into their swimsuits and enjoy local delicacies, such as crab and dumplings. For a unique experience, consider embarking on a boat tour to Nylon Pool and Buccoo Reef, available at a cost of approximately $120TTD per person with sailings at 11am and 2pm. While the beach itself is relatively small and lacks shaded areas, it remains a must-visit spot for those seeking a peaceful getaway. Plan your visit during off-peak hours to avoid crowds and fully appreciate the beauty of this stunning beach.
