Upon arriving at Kaputas Beach at midday, we were disappointed to find it teeming with people and no space to claim as our own. With the scorching summer heat reaching a sweltering 41 degrees Celsius, we knew we had to find an alternative. After stopping by a few other beaches along the way, we stumbled upon Gokliman Palji, which was refreshingly less crowded and boasted shower facilities and unoccupied benches by the sandy shore. The entrance fee was a reasonable 20 TL per person, and we were delighted to discover warm and cold sea currents that flowed interchangeably. The cherry on top was the presence of a restaurant and a floating platform, which made it an ideal spot for families with children.
The bay located between Demre and Finike is a stunning and serene destination with calm waters. The entrance fee is 20 TL per person and there is a wooden path leading down to the beach. The water boasts an array of blue hues and there are facilities available such as food and beverage options, locker cabins, showers, and restrooms. Sunbeds are available if you are lucky enough to secure a spot. The bay is teeming with beautiful fish, making it a must-visit spot.
