We got to the beach in the late afternoon after not being able to get to Wild Beach nearby. It was nice to have the beach all to ourselves. Esen sold us soft drinks at a fair price and mentioned that we didn't have to pay for the sun loungers. I'm not sure if this was because of the time of day. We had a great time sunbathing and swimming for two hours. Eden's choice of music also added to the overall atmosphere.
The beach on Heybeliada is pretty nice, better than some others, but the water isn't very clean. I saw some crabs while swimming with goggles, which was cool. The water is about 2.5 meters deep and gets deeper quickly. If you're not a strong swimmer, consider wearing a life vest as it can be challenging to swim there.
This island is a great escape from Istanbul, just a one-hour boat ride away.
The beach is lovely. We paid 150 TL per person (not sure why someone complained about this) and took the boat from the easily visible port. It wasn't crowded on weekdays, which was great. The water was clean.
This place is extremely disappointing. It's ridiculous to charge 400 lira for such a terrible experience. There is not even any sand to be seen. The toilets are filthy and the staff cannot communicate in English. When they don't understand you, they become angry. This place has absolutely nothing to do with a beach. It should only cost 40 lira considering how bad it is. I would strongly advise against taking their free boat. The return trips in the afternoon are very infrequent, usually only at 5 or 6 pm. The music is excessively loud, making it impossible to have a conversation. I recommend looking for a better place. This location does not resemble a beach in any sense.
The service at this beach is absolutely awful! Moreover, the staff running the establishment are extremely rude. They have a tendency to charge customers unfairly high prices for their food. Additionally, they have a habit of shouting at individuals who wish to explore the trails, falsely asserting that it is their personal property.
