This beach is truly a hidden paradise on earth. I can confidently say that it is one of the most stunning bays in Kastamonu and definitely a must-see destination.
The beach has poor amenities, but the sand is the only positive aspect. It's not recommended for those without children. There is a nearby bay with no charge, and the pebble beach allows for enjoyable swimming. It's not advisable to stay overnight in a caravan or camp as the owners charge a fee without providing any services. However, there is a promenade area just ahead at the forkzeytin entrance that can fulfill your needs.
To access the beach as an adult, you can pay 2 TL per person through the İliş village headman. However, there are no fees for parking, showers, toilets, or young children. This beach is quite clean and offers a peaceful atmosphere, making it a suitable choice for families with kids. It's a pleasant beach to visit without having high expectations. Regrettably, you may come across Syrians here, just like in other places.
The beach is not very well-known, except among the locals. However, for those who do visit, the natural beauty is breathtaking and the sea forms a unique cove. For a long time, it was just my wife and me, with only the soothing sound of the waves. It is a perfect place for those seeking tranquility. There are no cabins, and if you don't bring your own water, there are no facilities to get any. The beach is covered in stones rather than sand, which we personally love. And most importantly, without any official signage, they have divided the beach into sections for men and women, according to their beliefs. Everyone seems to be taking care of something and trying to establish their own rules. It was great that we were able to find the spot we wanted.
