The beach is not very well-known, except among the locals. However, for those who do visit, the natural beauty is breathtaking and the sea forms a unique cove. For a long time, it was just my wife and me, with only the soothing sound of the waves. It is a perfect place for those seeking tranquility. There are no cabins, and if you don't bring your own water, there are no facilities to get any. The beach is covered in stones rather than sand, which we personally love. And most importantly, without any official signage, they have divided the beach into sections for men and women, according to their beliefs. Everyone seems to be taking care of something and trying to establish their own rules. It was great that we were able to find the spot we wanted.
The name of this place is definitely an exaggeration. I stumbled upon it by chance and quickly realized that both the road and the coastline are difficult to navigate. My advice would be to keep driving and not stop here. It seems to be more suitable for the locals.
The İlyasbey village beach is accessible to everyone, with cool water and a rocky shoreline. Visitors can also find a grocery store in the village center.
We decided to set up our tent for a night and built a campfire on the beach using the leftover wood from the flood. The beach is quite peaceful. We parked our car in the left area upon arrival and placed our tents nearby. However, we noticed a shaded spot in the bushes on the left side of the parking lot where a tent could be pitched. It's important to be cautious since this is where the Sehriban River meets the sea. There isn't much shade available, as it's a sunny place from early morning and there are numerous flies. In fact, there are so many flies that we felt the urge to leave even before having breakfast. Unfortunately, swimming is not possible at this beach. As for those interested in collecting stones, I couldn't find any particularly fascinating ones. The only enjoyable aspect is taking a dip in the clear water where the Shahriban stream flows into the sea.
