The beach is a great place to unwind and enjoy some peace and quiet. However, the water is not very clean and can be a bit crowded.
You have to visit this place; it's incredibly peaceful and beautiful. There are a few restaurants, and it's conveniently located near Izmit city center.
Terrible experience. The clean section of the beach is off-limits, forcing everyone into a single, dirty area. The lifeguards are directing people to this filthy spot. We spent two hours walking just to find a place to sit! Ended up getting sunburned for no reason. This is supposed to be a public beach, and after COVID, I don't want to be crammed into one crowded area just to enjoy the beach like a normal person. ππππππππππππππππππ
This place is really lovely. If it were easily accessible by car, you can bet it would be packed with people. It's about a 15-20 minute walk from the trail. The water here is still and there's no moss at the bottom, just like its name implies, it has transformed into a pool. If you decide to leave, please make sure to leave it clean.
