This beach is my favorite, and I've been to many. Growing up here as a kid was a blessing. Here are some photos from a walk I took today. I was raised in Jupiter (JUP) and still live here. We can easily spot and smell a tourist from far away. Just please don't litter or harm our coastal ecosystem, and we can all get along. Take it easy, savor the beach. Share the beach responsibly. ❤️🌴🌞🌊
The beach offers of free parking, picturesque rock formations in the water, lush palm trees, crystal clear blue water, and soft sand. It's also commendable that they provide buckets for beachgoers who want to help preserve the environment by picking up litter. The only downside is that it's not dog-friendly, but with a dog beach just a couple of miles away, it's not a major issue. Despite this, I still rate this beach with five stars because I always enjoy visiting it.
This beach is our favorite spot. Dogs are allowed off-leash, and there are plenty of fellow dog owners who are fine with our large dog. It seems that those who don't like dogs tend to go elsewhere. The atmosphere is friendly, and it's never too crowded. There are numerous trash bins available for waste disposal, and they even provide free poop bags in case you forget to bring your own. Finding free parking is easy, especially on weekday evenings when we usually go for a walk right before sunset. It's absolutely perfect. This beach is the perfect place to let your dog run freely, as there is a 2-mile stretch leading to Juno pier. The round trip makes for a nice, long, and refreshing walk. In all the years we've been coming here, I have never seen any unpicked dog poop, which is impressive. I highly recommend this beach to any dog owner. In fact, our friends drive all the way from Ft. Lauderdale just to join us for a walk, and they agree that it's the best beach in South Florida.
This state park is definitely one of my favorites. The boardwalk leading to the ocean is a stunning 1,600-foot walk over the estuarine system, but if you don't feel like walking, there's a tram available. Once you reach the beach, you'll be welcomed by white sands and blue ocean waters. During our stay, we were lucky enough to spot manatees swimming near the shore, and there were plenty of shells to collect. The water was crystal clear and the waves were just right for swimming. However, we did encounter quite a few Man of War on the beach.
