Mayo Beach - all beaches

The beach is absolutely stunning! If you're a fan of the ocean's waves, you're in for a treat. However, it's important to bring protective footwear as there are numerous small rocks and pebbles scattered along the shore. The water temperature was a bit chilly at 62°F, but you'll quickly adjust once you dive in. We even spotted a seal from a distance, which was a delightful surprise. Overall, this beach is definitely worth a visit - we were completely in awe of its beauty!

This beach is perfect for shell collecting, swimming, and simply relaxing. It's conveniently located just a short walk from the parking lot, and also offers some interesting trails around the perimeter. Additionally, there's a fantastic oyster cove to explore.

The beach, known as Indian Neck, offers a picturesque shoreline that overlooks Wellfleet Bay, Great Island, and the town pier. To access it, you need to drive through a residential area, which typically results in a less crowded atmosphere based on my personal experience.
