The views are absolutely breathtaking. Take off your shoes and experience the unique texture of the rock. We visited in September, and the water was still warm enough for my son to play in. There weren't many tourists, and everyone was very respectful of each other. People seem to keep the beach clean. Parking is limited, so you might have to hike a bit, but it's worth it. My dog also enjoyed it, as it's pet-friendly.
Unfortunately, we didn't find any agates, but we did spend a good 3 hours at this spot, which was a nice place to search for them.
We had the beach all to ourselves on a Monday morning, and it was just a short and convenient walk from town. The road leading to the beach is made of gravel, and some of the private driveways are equally wide, so it's important to be cautious and avoid unintentionally visiting someone's property.
