The lake is absolutely stunning, and there is an outdoor playground right by the water for children to enjoy. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed during our visit in November.
The lake and beach are stunning, even though it's actually a man-made reservoir. The views are gorgeous and the calm turquoise water is more beautiful than many coastal beaches. There is ample parking for 20-30 cars, but it's usually quiet. It's a pebble beach, but if you live or are on holiday nearby, you can bring plastic chairs in your car like we do. Access is free, and there is also a nudist side for those interested.
