Latest reviews on Bolsena Lake's beaches

Spiaggia Lago Bolsena
8 Frederick Stone

The beach offers a volcanic lake with warm water, and the first few meters of the lake allow you to touch the ground. The surroundings are pleasant, and there are plenty of options for parking, resting, eating, and drinking.

Spiaggia del Borghetto
10 Nathan Jenson

This is a great place to visit by the lake. While it's labeled as a "beach," it's actually quite narrow. However, you can still relax by the water, get some exercise, have a picnic, snap some photos, and admire the scenery. The parking is conveniently located right next to the lake, and there are plenty of dining and lodging options, as well as camping opportunities, in the surrounding area.

Spiaggia di Cavajano

This lake has a great beach!

Bora Bora Beach Capodimonte
10 Evan Brown

This is an excellent destination for families with plenty of activities for children. Additionally, it's not overly touristy, so you won't feel like you're being taken advantage of.

Spiaggia dell'Acetosa
10 Giancarlo

This beach is a fantastic hidden gem for escaping the heat.

Spiaggia La Cava
6 Lena Carvelli

We took a scenic lakeside walk from Montefiascone to Marta, passing a pier and marina, and eventually arrived at the lakefront of Marta with its bars, restaurants, and market. On a particularly beautiful day, we decided to keep going and ended up at the foot of a long, steep staircase. Curiosity led us further to a beach called La Cava which was sadly abandoned. We could see the town of Capodimonte and the Bisentina island in the distance, but it wasn't clear if we could access the town from the beach. After a short walk, we couldn't find a way back to Marta, so we returned the way we came, leaving with a thousand questions and a tinge of disappointment. We hope to go back and explore further.
