Styria - all beaches

The lake is absolutely stunning, although the water may be a little chilly, it's still enjoyable for a swim. Additionally, you have the convenience of parking your car right by the shore, but do keep in mind that there is a parking fee until 6 p.m.

The lake is truly a hidden gem in the region. Perfect for leisurely strolls and complete tranquility. Additionally, there are numerous alternative hiking paths in the vicinity. I make it a point to revisit the lake every couple of years to rediscover the evolving landscape... and to rejuvenate my spirits. The downside is that an increasing amount of the lakefront is restricted to property owners only. In my view, no more than 2-3% of the entire lake is open to the public, which is truly unfortunate. Moreover, many private properties have been neglected, etc. However, the most frustrating aspect is the presence of "no entry" signs or private property warnings (at the lake access) 😡!

We visited a lovely, compact beach area by the lake, featuring small boardwalks and a quaint hut that happened to be closed during our visit.
