As Australians who have explored some of the world's most stunning beaches, we can confidently say that Lazy Beach is our favorite beach resort on the planet. Despite rarely returning to places we've already visited, we keep finding ourselves drawn back to this tropical paradise.
During our fifth visit since 2009, we were delighted to see that Lazy Beach has maintained its charm and beauty. It's a refreshing escape from the crowded, noisy, and polluted Saracen Bay on the island's east side.
Lazy Beach boasts only 20 charming timber and thatch bungalows, as well as a single thatched beach bar/restaurant, all nestled on 600 meters of pristine private beach. The food is delectable, and the Khmer/UK owners are all delightful.
We'll undoubtedly return to Lazy Beach many more times, and for longer stays. It's the epitome of a classic tropical beach holiday, just as they used to be.
