This beach is fantastic! It's a small public beach with convenient parking and restroom facilities. We visited specifically for snorkeling, and it definitely lived up to our expectations. The experience of swimming out to the reef was truly breathtaking. Along the way, we encountered three Eagle Rays and some smaller coral formations. However, once we reached the reef itself, it was absolutely incredible. The reef was teeming with colorful fish and appeared to be in great health. We even spotted a few large fish and a pufferfish hiding under a coral formation. Just be aware that the wind can be a bit strong, and there are some areas with strong currents on the way to the reef. Nevertheless, it's perfectly safe for an average swimmer.
Here's a helpful tip: We found the Eagle Rays hanging out in the deeper area, about 10-15 feet deep, approximately one-third of the way between the beach and the reef. If you spend a few minutes there on your way to the reef, you might be lucky enough to spot them gracefully swimming along the bottom.
