Cemetery beach

The beach offers ample parking and conveniently located public restrooms, situated just across the street from the cemetery. A friendly local offers chair rentals, but bringing your own or simply laying on a towel is equally acceptable. While the reefs are located a bit further from shore, they are teeming with an abundance of colorful fish. This spot is an excellent choice for a quick stop and some fun in the sun.

The beach is still a delightful destination, but regrettably, the number of fish has diminished significantly for snorkelers. This holds true both near the shoreline and out by the reef. It's a pity, since I recall adoring this place 15 years ago.

I relished a brief but exhilarating snorkeling adventure that lasted two hours. The water was stunningly beautiful, and the crowd was just right. The snorkeling experience was quite impressive, especially about 150 feet from the shore. This beach is a perfect location if you crave a serene and less crowded atmosphere than the popular 7-mile beach. Additionally, there is a fantastic reef where you can relax and enjoy the beauty of the underwater world.

This is an idyllic location to enjoy a few hours of relaxation! The snorkeling experience is exceptional, with tranquil waters that are ideal for swimming. The beach itself is not teeming with people, providing a peaceful and serene atmosphere. Given the seaweed issue on the north and east sides of the island, we took a one-hour drive to reach this beach - and it was definitely worth it! It is worth noting that there are no public restrooms or shower facilities available, unlike some of the other public beaches.

According to my research, Cemetery Beach is a fantastic spot for beachcombing and snorkeling. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint! The sand is incredibly soft and the water is a mesmerizing shade of aqua blue. Although you do have to walk alongside a cemetery to reach the beach, it's well worth the effort. We took a public bus to get there and the driver was kind enough to drop us off at the right spot. As we snorkeled above the small reefs, we were greeted by an abundance of gorgeous fish. And to top it all off, I was able to find some lovely green and brown beach glass - tiny pieces that had washed up where the ocean meets the sand. This beach is an absolute must-visit, especially for those who love snorkeling. You won't be disappointed!
