This beach is an excellent location for snorkeling with calm waters, although it may be a bit chilly compared to other beaches. I was able to spot an array of fish and beautiful corals during my visit.

What a charming little nook with plenty of room to park your ride! Just keep in mind that you'll be facing the sun all day long, even in the winter. But hey, it's worth it for the primo snorkeling opportunities. Just be prepared for a bit of a gritty sand situation on this side of the island.

We stumbled upon this incredible hidden beach along the main highway. Simply enter "Aroa Beach" into your GPS once you're on the main island and you'll arrive within 20 minutes, regardless of your location on the island. The beach is quite secluded and doesn't attract many visitors. However, be sure to wear reef shoes as there are sharp rocks under the water. Bring along some snorkeling gear to explore the fascinating underwater world. The beach is impeccably clean, and the crowd is moderate. Overall, I would give this beach a perfect rating of 5/5.

I had an absolutely incredible time snorkeling at the beach. The location is marked by a small Palm Tree and a Water Faucet, where you can rinse off your feet before heading out on your adventure. As you make your way towards the reef, you'll be amazed by the vast array of coral formations that you'll encounter. Keep going until you reach the spot where the coral is at its most magnificent, and you'll know it when you see it - you'll be surrounded by a plethora of fish and large, stunning coral formations. The water was about 5 feet deep when I was there, although I'm not sure what the tide status was at the time. All in all, it was an unforgettable experience that I would recommend to anyone who loves the ocean and its wonders.

This beach is an absolute gem for snorkeling enthusiasts! We found ourselves returning here almost every day of our stay on the island. To fully appreciate the underwater world, we recommend leisurely following the coral along the perimeter. On our final day, we discovered a delightful trick - cracking open a coconut and using a piece of rough coral to grate it. This attracted a frenzy of fish that were so tame they ate right out of our hands!
