The beaches are absolutely lovely, but it's important to bring along a pair of sturdy swimming shoes as the sandy shore and some sections of the ocean floor are strewn with jagged rocks.

This beach is simply the best. The Adriatic Sea is crystal clear and during the summer months, it's calm and warm, making it the perfect place to take a swim. There are also plenty of fun sea activities for kids to enjoy. For those who want to indulge in some local cuisine, head to the Bistro Puntica located right on the beach. The picturesque setting is the perfect backdrop for enjoying some delicious food and a refreshing Karlovacko beer. The only downside is that the full beauty of the sunset is not visible from the shore. However, if you're willing to swim a bit further out, you'll be rewarded with a stunning view that's worth the effort.

To fully enjoy the beach, make sure to bring coins for the paid showers that only last for 30 seconds. Paddleboarding is a popular activity, but be aware that there are limited buoys to anchor to. Fortunately, there is a designated safe swim area for those who prefer to stay close to shore. Though there are trees that provide some shade, the best spots fill up quickly. The beach can get quite crowded, especially with many children around. Due to its exposed location, there are some waves that can be enjoyed by more experienced swimmers. The water gets deeper closer to shore, making it a great spot for those who enjoy swimming. The stunning mountain view across the bay is a sight to behold. Finally, the sea is clean and inviting for a refreshing swim.
