Absolutely loved Nukubati!! It was a chance to get away from all the hustle and bustle especially the woes of the digital world! The management and staff had great synergy and were super friendly and accommodating!! The owners are visionary with regards to having solar power supply the resorts energy needs for the last 30 years! They are very close to being self sustained and I likened it to being a country on its own!! The food included a great blend of fresh local produce from their farm on the island among other things. The highlight was a typical Fijian feast done in true Fijian fashion. The accommodation was very spacious and comfortable. In fact the large louvre windows made the place cool and very comfortable to sleep in (best sleep I’ve had in years!!) Definitely a place to visit for “true” relaxation and a flavor of real Fijian hospitality!! Go over and try for yourself!!

Stayed at nukubati with my wife, as part of our honeymoon trip, for 7 nights, a truly memorable experience. Nukubati “ private island” gave its name justice, as we had the entire island to ourselves for 4 nights, the final 3 nights were spent with a lovely Belgium family. Upon arriving onto the island, we were greeted with a song from the staff, whilst this is the typical heart warming Fijian way, it felt nice to see every member off staff to attend the welcoming, it made us feel immediately comfortable. The food was absolutely amazing, from breakfast through to our three course lunch and dinner, every meal was fresh and amazing. Staff were absolutely incredible, a special thanks to Emily, Saran Nina and hotel manager Gordan. The owners Jenny and Peter were amazing, they really made it feel like home. A surreal feeling, staying at such a beautiful island, and at the same time feeling so welcomed, and feeling like the island was your own home. Was very sad to leave and definitely be back again.

We spent our honeymoon on Nukubati Island and it couldn't have been anymore memorable! Amazing hospitality, incredibly fresh seafood and organic vegetables. Highlight was the romantic beach experience! Thanks to everyone at Nukubati Island, we will be back!

I did not stay at the resort but was visiting a friend in the Peace Corps in a village nearby. We contacted the resort ahead of time and they allowed me to go scuba diving with them. Lara took care of the logistics and came diving with us as a backup diver. Leone was the instructor and was by far the best dive instructor I have had diving thus far. They took me to one of their favorite dive sites on the first dive and on the second dive (asking me if it was ok) we went to a new dive site no one had ever been before. The dive was amazing and went incredibly smoothly which only a top notch dive instructor would be able to pull off at an unfamiliar dive site with divers behind him. I never felt unsafe with Leone and he was great at calming any nerves during the pre-dive briefings. We saw reef sharks, turtles, macro life, and giant schools of fish that went beserk (in a good way) because they are not used to seeing scuba divers. Lara and Leone even let me name this new dive site "The Corner" leaving my mark on The Great Sea Reef (the third largest reef in the world). The reef is in excellent condition here and totally secluded. We did not see another boat the entire day making for perfect scuba diving conditions. If you have the chance to dive with Lara and Leone I cannot recommend it enough!

Best vacation filled with dreams coming true daily. It’s breathtaking, comfortable, organic, staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, food was incredible, private, adventurous, romantic…just go! It’s special. You can’t find this at a big resort or hotel.
