The beach itself is not a highlight, but in May the Bretons are out and about looking for seaweed and crabs on the edge of the fortress island. We put on our rubber boots and took a look. The locals found crabs, a sea spider and even a small lobster. Very interesting.

Magnificent view and superb coastal landscape. To be seen along the Gr 34 or on one of the many hiking trails offered by the Abers Tourist Office. Very pretty at low tide as at high tide. Beautiful walk to do with the family.
