Solina beach

I've visited the place before and I must say that I have only positive things to say about the hotel, the beach, and the staff's efforts in providing entertainment for children.

The hotel was massive! We encountered an issue with the air conditioning being too noisy, but they promptly switched our room! Inside the hotel, there were various amenities such as shops, a doctor, and bars. They also offered pool classes with instructors for water activities. The food was decent as we had breakfast and dinner included in our half-board package. The beach was enjoyable, the pools were well-maintained, and the staff was friendly. The wifi was satisfactory, although I didn't utilize it much. The rooms were quite clean, and the city wasn't too far away. Overall, it was one of the top hotels in Halkidiki!

I really enjoy this beach. The sand is fine and white, and the water has a beautiful clear turquoise color. Additionally, there is a bar right on the beach, and the hotel offers a restaurant where you can grab some food and enjoy it outdoors by the sea. Although there is a fee for using the beach sunbeds and umbrella, the beach itself is quite spacious, with ample room between each sunbed. It doesn't feel overcrowded at all.

The hotel does not live up to its star rating. The rooms are comparable to those in a two-star hotel and lack basic amenities like soap. Additionally, the hair dryer was not functional. The quality of the food is mediocre, considering higher expectations. The staff tends to be impolite when approached for assistance, and there is often a wait time for service. However, the redeeming qualities of this establishment are the beautiful beach and sea. Alternatively, if you invest the same amount of money and travel to Egypt, you will receive a luxurious experience, complete with a plane ticket.

We were quite disappointed with this place, as we had higher expectations. All of the sun beds were already taken by towels, so there was no available space to sit. The entrance fee of €8 includes 2 frappes but no water. Additionally, there is an extra €10 fee for parking inside or you can park for free on the side of the road. The parking area is about a 5-7 minute walk from the beach. Upon entering, our temperature was checked and we were asked for our names and contact numbers. The beach itself is self-service only, with a wet bar. Unfortunately, the staff at the bar was not very accommodating and could even be described as rude, especially at The White bar. It was quite a pity that we ended up spending €28 on 3 smoothies and a pizza, and wasted 30 minutes of our time at this place. We are grateful that we checked it out before planning to stay at the hotel.
