Lagomandra beach

While the beach does not come included with the hotel reservation price, it is an absolutely stunning location. The water is crystal clear and the sand is clean, making it a perfect spot for families to enjoy. During my week-long stay at Lagomandra, I had an incredible vacation. The hotel itself was great, with spacious rooms and a beautiful swimming pool. However, the restaurant lacked enough seafood options which is why I gave it four stars. The cleaning service could have been better, but overall it was a great experience. The surrounding area was breathtaking, with numerous beautiful beaches nearby. Although there is a fee of 12€ to enter the hotel's beach, it is well worth it. I highly recommend purchasing tickets for a ship trip from one of the nearby ports. I would definitely come back to the Sithonia peninsula, as it is truly a stunning location. Renting a car is a must, as the peninsula is quite large and transportation can be difficult without one.

If only visitors to this Sithonia beach would take responsibility for their own waste, it could easily become a top contender among the area's best beaches. Despite the unfortunate littering, the water is refreshingly clear and inviting, and there is ample natural shade to enjoy. It's a shame that even with the presence of large trash receptacles at the entrances, garbage still seems to be scattered about.

The beach is a true beauty, adorned with crystal clear waters and soft, inviting sand. The little pine tree forest provides natural shade, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. We chose to stay in the public area, right in the middle, close to the rocks. However, being such a popular destination has its downsides. It's disheartening to see litter and cigarette butts scattered about, and unfortunately, the pine tree forest has become a makeshift toilet for some visitors. Despite this, there are still plenty of opportunities to explore the underwater world and observe the small fish through snorkeling.

On a lovely Sunday, we decided to explore the beach. However, we were surprised to find it already bustling with people at 10:30 am, making it difficult to find a parking spot. We rented a set of an umbrella and two chez-longs for a reasonable price of 12 EUR. The bar served refreshing drinks in the paid zone, where we could relax and enjoy the sun. The free zone was vast and included spacious areas shaded by pine trees. The water was slightly colder than other beaches, and the shore got deep quickly.

The beach presents a satisfactory experience, although it can become a little congested at times. The presence of Pine trees provides a delightful natural shade, and the water is refreshing and unpolluted. Occasionally, the waves can get a bit rough in the afternoon. To the front of the hotel, there are sun umbrellas available for use, and children can enjoy themselves at the water playground.
