Salonikiou beach III

During our six years of vacationing in Greece, this particular beach was by far the worst experience we've had, and it nearly ruined our entire stay in the country. The room they provided us with was completely different from the one we had chosen and paid for on the Booking site. It was incredibly dirty, with spider webs in every corner I looked. Behind the double bed, there was an excessive amount of dust and hair. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting, with mold covering every surface you laid your eyes on. The dirty pipe behind the toilet seat was blackened by mold, and the toilet itself was not properly fixed to the floor, causing it to wobble. However, the most unbearable aspect was the unbearable smell, reminiscent of a sewer pipe. Even the pool had green mold on its walls and bottom, presenting a health risk for my family. Despite the hotel claiming that there were no other available rooms, we decided to leave. Unfortunately, they refused to refund our money, despite our insistence that the room they offered was not the one we had paid for. As a result, we lost all the money we had initially spent. Our friends, who were supposed to stay with us, were given a room where water was dripping from the ceiling onto their beds. Eventually, they were moved to the same room that we had refused to stay in. I strongly advise against spending even a single day at this place. We ended up moving to a wonderful hotel in Kalives, which made our vacation truly enjoyable.

The rooms are extremely filthy and have a strong unpleasant odor. The level of dirtiness goes beyond what one would typically expect. The pool water appears green, and all the furniture is old, dirty, and repulsive, making it impossible to find a comfortable place to sit or sleep. The bathroom is a complete nightmare, emitting a truly foul smell and covered in dirt. The towels, mattresses, and sheets in the room are disgustingly unclean. Regardless of how desperate you may be, I strongly advise against coming to this hotel.

This beach is a great destination for families with children. The location is ideal, and the beach itself is perfect for kids. The rooms appear slightly worn out. With a bit of attention and care given to the facilities, this hotel could become a dream destination. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the hotel only rates 1 out of 5, while the food receives a 3 out of 5 rating.

This is our third consecutive year choosing this hotel for our vacation. The location and concept are still impressive. However, we have noticed a significant decline in the quality of service. The food options have also become disappointing, with a lack of variety at breakfast and unexciting dinner choices. We even requested a bottle of water with our dinner, but it was never delivered. Regrettably, we have decided not to return next year. We believe we can find better options for the same price.

Our family of three had a wonderful time during our 7-day stay at the beach. We were given a family seaview room, and the bathroom had recently been renovated. However, some guests were complaining about the bathroom in the double rooms. In the morning, there were no waves, so my 2-year-old son and I would walk from our room to the water without wearing slippers. The water was incredibly clean, and the sand sparkled. I would recommend this hotel to families who can overlook the outdated rooms, as they are still very clean. The staff's English proficiency is not the best, and on a few occasions, there was no hot water after 7 PM, which could be frustrating. The nearest town or village is small, and if you plan on going for evening walks, you'll need to drive for at least 30 minutes.
