The internet is filled with numerous breathtaking photographs of this beach, and it even ranks among the top three on the island. However, the beach's appeal may vary depending on your preferences and expectations. From our experience, we found the beach to be quite rocky and uncomfortable, necessitating the use of shoes. While the sea is pristine, there are no remarkable features such as sunbeds to enhance your experience. The village itself hosts several taverns, a bakery, and small supermarkets, but we didn't find any compelling reason to stay there. After driving 20 km from Aedipsou thermal springs, you'll encounter numerous sharp turns and falling rocks, so be cautious. Unfortunately, the surrounding area was ravaged by a fire, and some parts were entirely burnt.
