Canella Beach

The staff at this beach are amazing - Valerie, Christine, Livio, and Moises. They are the reason why I have been returning to this hotel almost every year since 2014.

Canella Beach Hotel has a great location and offers good service. The duplex room was fantastic. However, the breakfast could use some improvement and be more up-to-date. Overall, I would recommend it.

We booked a one-night stay here while waiting for our flight, and were disappointed to find that the establishment greatly lacks value for the price. Cons: Absence of extra blankets or pillows. The room had only a sheet, and the closet was bare, which is unacceptable for a 3-star hotel. Non-functional telephone. Unable to reach reception for a blanket request, as the phone was inoperative. I had to resort to using my cell phone. Poor customer service. Initially, the call was disconnected, and on the second attempt, I was informed that a blanket would be delivered in the morning, which was unhelpful considering my one-night stay and immediate need. Deteriorating infrastructure. The balcony presented with dangerous broken concrete, and the bathroom was in a deplorable state, resembling a 'war zone'. There were also ants in the room. Presence of a stray cat in the dining area, soliciting food. Inadequate Wi-Fi, likely due to thick concrete walls. Pros: The food was average, with the dinner buffet lacking inspiration. The hotel features a pool, though I didn’t have the opportunity to use it. My feedback to the hotel management is urgent: the charge of €205 is exorbitant for the quality provided, and the hotel would be more appropriately priced at €50. Without significant improvements, the future of this establishment seems bleak. I am certain I won't return and cannot recommend this hotel to others.

After exploring every corner of Guadaloupe for two weeks, we can confidently affirm that Hotel Canella Beach truly prioritizes the comfort and cleanliness of their guests. The rooms are generously sized, and the amenities provided are impeccable. The pool and beach area create a delightful atmosphere, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. With a kitchenette on the balcony and a wide range of amenities, the hotel surpasses all expectations. And let's not forget about the breathtaking view, which is simply unparalleled.

The beach is conveniently located near the airport, and the rooms are quite comfortable. However, the kitchen on the terrace can get extremely hot because there are no shutters outside. The staff at the hotel is very friendly and nice, and there are essential shops nearby. The hotel also offers various dining options and has a small store. The beach and pool are both small but well maintained. Anse des Rochers is probably a better option if you're looking for a nicer beach and sea. Additionally, breakfast is included, which is very convenient.
