On Friday at noon, the beach appeared to be deserted despite the presence of a lifeguard. Getting to the beach by car was a frustrating experience due to the unregulated dirt roads, some of which were swampy. The only regulated parking available was in Alagan. As for the beach itself, it seemed to have regulations in place regarding turbans and lifeguard shelters. Overall, the beach had a desolate and dull atmosphere.
