This mesmerizing location is nestled within a lush pine forest and boasts petite sand hills that gently slope towards the shoreline. As you make your way towards the vast ocean, intricate pools and bends guide your path. Here, there are no amenities to distract from the natural beauty that surrounds you - only the pure and serene essence of Mother Nature herself.

A wonderful discovery just an hour's drive from Rome, this beach is definitely worth a visit. However, it's important to note that parking is limited, so it's best to arrive early in the morning. Keep some coins handy as the ATM may not always work. There are no facilities or public restrooms on the beach, but you may find a van selling sandwiches and drinks. It's recommended to bring your own umbrella, food, and drinks if you plan to stay all day. Camping in the pine forest is also an option, but no fires are allowed. The beach is made up of various coves with clear and shallow water, surrounded by rocks and sandy shores. Some of the coves have marine vegetation on the seabed, while others have less. It's a great place for children to play and have fun with inflatable games and mattresses. If you're feeling hungry, there's a nearby bar called Mosconi that's just a 10-minute drive away. This beach is perfect for those who prefer a peaceful and less crowded environment. However, keep in mind that during storms, dry algae may wash up on the shore.

The San Giorgio beach can be accessed through a dirt path. On the right, there is a spacious square where you can freely park your vehicle. Additionally, there is a paid parking area located in the shade, within the pine forest. We visited on a Tuesday and were pleased to find that the beach was not crowded, allowing a group of kids to play football without any hindrance. It is noteworthy that the beach is not serviced, and visitors are required to bring all necessary items for the day. At the outskirts of the free parking space, there are waste bins for proper disposal. The beach is well-maintained, with clear waters, particularly in the morning, and shallow waters extending for a considerable distance.

The Piscine San Giorgio beaches are a collection of stunning shorelines that are protected by natural rock formations. To access these beaches, you will need to navigate an unpaved road that is partially paved with concrete. There are two parking options available, a smaller one on the right and a larger one on the left, with a fee of 1 euro per hour or 3 euro per day. Without any commercial establishments in sight, this is a perfect spot for those who seek a serene and unspoiled environment. The waters are crystal clear and unpolluted, and the beach is covered in posidonia, a vital component of the ecosystem. A vast pine forest lies behind the beach, providing a picturesque backdrop. The only downside is the distant view of the large chimney of the thermoelectric power station of Civitavecchia.
