This beach is undoubtedly one of the best on the Abruzzo coast. The sea is crystal clear and it's best to visit in the morning for the best experience. Nearby, there's the Trabocco Valle Grotte restaurant, which is the best in the area. I highly recommend going there for lunch or dinner and enjoying the incredible atmosphere. There aren't many parking spots, but don't worry about leaving your car on the street.

The ocean is amazing, but there are no amenities. It's a free beach, with only a fountain to provide relief from the heat. You can access it from the bike path or by taking the steep stairs from the highway. If you're lucky, you can find a spot in the upper square.

The beach itself is not too bad, with breakers near the shore that help to reduce the waves on a moderately rough day, like the day of our visit. Unfortunately, there are no bathrooms or cabins, and not even a bin, but it is still quite clean. Parking is limited. The only downside is that the nearby stream and paths (where you park) are used as public toilets... On the plus side, the nearby restaurant offers a great dining experience.

Pebble beach with crystal clear waters (not always, but often like today). The sea is deep enough to swim in, but close enough to the shore. There's also the wonderful Trabocco Valle Grotte, which offers excellent lunches, romantic dinners with the moon and the undertow, snacks, pizzas, sandwiches and aperitifs. Plus, there's a cycle path. Weekdays are preferable. Chieti's Agate is a must-see. I can't help but rave about this place - try it and you'll see for yourself!

The beach is easily accessible from the road, and its crystal-clear waters are surrounded by rocks. The view is breathtaking, with two other beaches visible to the north and south, and the vast expanse of the sea stretching out before you.
