I wouldn't recommend this beach. The path to get there is quite long, and it's not accurately shown on Google Maps. Additionally, there are numerous rocks, so it's not a sandy beach.

The beach is so stunning that we decided to visit two days in a row. To get there, you can take a stop at Reale beach and then drive along the coastline where you'll find various bathing establishments and diving centers. Once you reach a large dirt parking lot, a 5-minute walk will lead you to Terranera beach, which actually consists of two beaches. The second one, accessible by climbing a somewhat steep rock, offers a breathtaking view of a beautiful lake with mesmerizing green-blue water. Although I wouldn't recommend swimming there, I have seen a few brave individuals take the plunge. Personally, I preferred the splendid and crystal-clear sea. The beaches are composed of pebbles and sparkling hematite stones, with occasional patches of sand that make it easier for children to enter the water. It's never overcrowded and there are no bars, making it absolutely gorgeous! If you're in need of umbrellas and deck chairs, you can find them at Reale beach, which is essentially the same sea. Snorkeling enthusiasts will find the underwater scenery interesting, as there is a giant iron wheel located about 50 meters from the lake beach, possibly a remnant from the abandoned mine, giving it a unique wreck-like appearance. You can check out the rest of the details in the photos.

The water clarity and abundance of sea life at this beach are truly remarkable, especially when compared to the five other beaches we have visited. It is an excellent spot for snorkeling, with remnants of a mine just a few meters away from the coast. It is advisable to wear water shoes as the stony entrance can be slippery. After finding a parking space (although there is no designated parking area or infrastructure), you will need to walk for approximately five minutes to reach the beach. You have the option to choose between a walking path or navigating across the rocks, both of which require some effort.

This beach is known for its distinctive and untamed black sand, which gets its color from various minerals, including hematite. The beach is a vibrant display of colors, ranging from red to black, with all its subtle variations. What sets this place apart is the presence of a natural lake that is separated from the sea by a strip of beach. Nature has a way of creating enchanting destinations where we can create unforgettable memories with our loved ones. Despite the overcast weather, this place has left a lasting impression on me, and the emotions I experienced there are beyond words. It truly deserves a visit due to its exceptional and one-of-a-kind characteristics.

This beach is a hidden gem with breathtaking views, accessible through a path starting from Reale beach under Porto Azzurro (near the Terra Nera parking lot on the Navigator set). The striking contrast between the lush green lake and the crystal-clear sea is truly stunning. Although the pebble beach and rocky seabed in the initial stretch may pose a challenge and lack comfort, the beach is rarely crowded. It is advisable to wear rock shoes to explore the abundant marine life and discover a fascinating relic from the old mine, which I won't spoil for you.
