Nestled beneath a towering cliff, this quaint little beach offers a cozy spot to soak up some sun. However, be mindful of the shadows that creep in as the day progresses, particularly near the cliff's edge. When venturing into the water, it's advisable to wear protective footwear to avoid any discomfort from the rocky seafloor. While a small cafe and changing room are available for use with payment, the nearest restroom is a steep 500-meter trek up the cliff to the parking lot. It's worth noting that the stairs leading up are not the sturdiest, so proceed with caution.

The beach at Sottoboma on Elba Island was an absolute delight! It was a perfect day to soak up the sun and enjoy the crystal-clear waters. The surroundings were stunning, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. I couldn't have asked for a better beach day.

The beach that I adore is petite and secluded, with no overcrowded parking spaces in sight, attracting only the most devoted beachgoers. For a reasonable fee of 25€, one can rent a comfortable pair of chairs and a parasol to enjoy the sun and waves.

During the month of September, the sun graces the shores in the afternoon, casting a warm and inviting glow over the entire area. The beach is a haven for snorkelers, with its crystal-clear waters teeming with marine life. Conveniently located parking options are available, with paid parking directly across from the beach and free parking located in the nearby park, which doubles as a popular dog walking spot.
