This beach is great! We arrived towards the end of July during the UK school holidays and arrived at around 10:30 AM. There were only a few people on the beach, and there was plenty of space unlike many other beaches in Sicily during this time of year. To get to the beach, you should follow the directions on Google Maps and park in one of the roadside car parks on either side of the entrance to the nature reserve. From there, it's a 10-minute walk through a partially shaded paved pine forest to the beach. It was quite hot (37 degrees) when we visited with my two daughters aged 9 and 12, and they had minor complaints about the walk due to the heat, but they both agreed that it was worth it! There are showers on the way in and out to rinse off the sand. This beach is definitely worth a visit!
