The beach we visited in Salento was pleasant, though not quite as impressive as some of the others we had seen. It was quite narrow and seemed to be quite popular, as it was quite busy during our visit.

The parking is conveniently located and reasonably priced. However, beachgoers are required to rent a deckchair as placing towels directly on the sand is not permitted and the rental fees are quite steep. The beach tends to be quite busy but offers a sandy shoreline and clean water, although the color of the water is not a vibrant blue.

4 Frustrating

The actual sea at this beach is quite distinct from what is depicted in the pictures. One must be extremely fortunate with the weather conditions to truly appreciate the beauty of the place. The parking fee is not exorbitant, costing around 5 euros, and a complimentary car wash is available at the exit. The bar is average, and if you require an umbrella, it is advisable to reserve one beforehand. However, I do not plan on returning to this location anytime soon.

The beach is not worth the high price and excessive advertising due to the terrible service. Although the sand is nice, the entrance to the ocean is rocky, requiring protective footwear for swimming. The free beaches nearby are dirty and filled with litter, and the views are ruined by the abundance of China-made products being sold. Upon arriving early in the morning, we chose our preferred spot, only to be approached by a rescue worker who demanded payment before allowing us to stay. After paying, he insisted we move to a less desirable location near construction and rocks, claiming our original spot was reserved, despite no indication of such. To make matters worse, we had already paid for a full day of parking.

10 Exceptional

The ocean is so pristine, you could practically drink it (although we don't recommend it). The beach itself is quite picturesque, with just a smidge of algae lurking nearby. Don't fret about running low on cash, though - plastic reigns supreme here and you can even use it to pay for parking. If you're willing to fork over a pretty penny (or 32-60 euros, to be exact), you can score a couple of sun loungers for the day. And let's not forget about the grub - the food options are top-notch.
