The beach is a great spot and it's worth checking out, especially since it's free for public entry. Although swimming is not allowed at Grotta della Poesia anymore, the surrounding area is still beautiful and worth a visit.

Although there was sand underfoot, there wasn't much to sit on. The water in the shallows wasn't very clear, but the clarity improved as you ventured deeper. It wasn't overly crowded, but it wasn't the most impressive beach we've come across either.
