They are charging us 10 euros per person, including the 3-year-old girl, to access the beaches in Sardinia, which is normally illegal everywhere else but allowed here. By law, beach access should be free, and in other places, they at least have the excuse of paid parking. However, here you have to pay 15 euros per car plus per person if you want to access by car. If the parking lots near the beaches are full, they make you park your car outside the area and provide shuttle service. It's quite embarrassing. I understand that municipalities need to generate revenue, but this is truly shameful, as the beaches lack any services. I suggest avoiding this place in hopes that they will stop demanding these unreasonable fees. We decided to go somewhere else, as Sardinia has plenty of beaches that can be enjoyed for free or with fair parking options. It's best to either relocate or gather information beforehand.
