The beach would be peaceful if it weren't for a group of people with campers inside a restricted area. As we walked along the white road that leads to the beach, which is rightfully prohibited for vehicles, they kindly thanked us for allowing them in. They greeted us with a friendly gesture and a phrase that is typical of Sardinia. It's possible that they mistook us for foreigners or mainlanders. It's unfortunate that we are actually Sardinians and have owned a house in Pula for 22 years.
