If you're looking for a serene and tranquil day at the beach, Pittulongu may not be the best choice for you. However, if you're seeking a sandy and family-friendly beach close to Olbia city center, then this is the place to be. Bus number 4 stops just 2 minutes away from the beach, and the ride takes around 20 minutes from Olbia. It's worth noting that the return trip can get quite crowded. As this beach is quite popular, it's advisable to arrive early if you want to secure a good spot. There are also sun beds available to rent if you prefer. We noticed a few restaurants along the beach that seemed to be popular, although we didn't try them. Additionally, there were many vendors roaming around.

Although it can get quite crowded, renting a chair and umbrella is a breeze. Just be sure to keep an eye out for the two rental spots available - the blue chairs are significantly cheaper than the brown ones. But the real star of the show here is the crystal clear water and soft, fine sand beach. In July, the water temperature hovers around a comfortable 22-24 degrees, making it the perfect place to cool off on a hot summer day. Overall, I highly recommend a visit to this stunning beach. Its natural beauty and vibrant atmosphere make it a must-see destination for any traveler.

Nice beach to spend a day, with the added convenience of showers available for a small fee of 1 euro per minute. The ambiance is pleasant and inviting, making it a great place to relax and soak up the sun. The sandy shoreline is perfect for lounging, while the crystal clear waters are ideal for a refreshing swim. Overall, this beach is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a peaceful and enjoyable day by the sea.

The beach is absolutely stunning with crystal-clear blue waters, and I had a fantastic time there. Mama Beach restaurant offers beach chairs and umbrellas for rent at a reasonable price of 20 euros. The restaurant itself is pretty cool too! However, it's worth noting that the weather was unexpectedly chilly for May.

The beach near Olbia is truly stunning, with its natural beauty and serene atmosphere. Although our visit was marred by strong winds, I can only imagine how delightful it would be on a sunny day. It's important to note that walking from Olbia to the beach is not recommended, as there are no proper footpaths. Instead, taking the 04 bus is the best option for a hassle-free journey.
