This beach is a delightful spot for those who love to bring their furry friends along. The water is crystal clear, and the surrounding scenery is simply stunning. You'll be pleased to know that parking is free, and there's no charge for entry to the beach. However, if you're feeling generous, you can make a donation to the association that runs the beach. The funds collected go towards sterilizing homeless cats and dogs. The association also provides a range of amenities, such as sun umbrellas, bases, litter bags, bowls, and toys, all of which are free of charge. Additionally, there's a rubbish bin provided for dogs' droppings and a shower to rinse off before heading home. The only downside is that some dog owners need to be better educated about cleaning up after their pets, as there are occasional uncollected droppings on the beach.

The beach is meticulously taken care of, however, it consists of petite pebbles and stones, so it's advisable to wear shoes. The water is remarkably clear, allowing you to see the bottom of the sea. It's commendable that only dog owners are permitted to enter, as there are already ample constraints in Sardinia.

Although the parking space is restricted, the picturesque view and the immaculate beach make up for it.

The beach is managed by a group of dedicated volunteers who went above and beyond to make our visit a memorable one. Upon our arrival, they kindly offered snacks for our furry companions and inquired if we needed any additional amenities such as umbrellas, water, or water dishes for our pets. The best part? They only requested a donation in return for their exceptional hospitality. While the beach was undoubtedly picturesque, it didn't quite live up to the high standards set by other beaches in Sardinia. Nevertheless, we had a wonderful time soaking up the sun and taking in the stunning views. It's just a shame that we couldn't experience some of the most breathtaking beaches that Sardinia has to offer.

This particular beach located in La Maddalena and Caprera is the only one that permits dogs. It is run by the Arvepana Onlus volunteers who have made sure that the dogs have access to a bowl, umbrella, and fresh water shower in case of any needs. Porto Palma beach is exceptionally peaceful and offers a stunning view, especially during sunset. Although the beach is free to use, visitors are encouraged to make a voluntary donation to the non-profit organization for the services provided. The hospitable volunteers and the beach's beauty make it one of the top dog-friendly beaches in Sardinia.
