Padenghe Beach

I had a fantastic time at the beach! The food was delicious, and the location was absolutely stunning. I highly recommend it!

The seating by the lake at this beach is top-notch, earning it a five-star rating. The ambiance is very pleasant as well. The pizzas were absolutely delicious, although the crust was a bit too thick for my liking. Unfortunately, the service was lacking due to an insufficient number of waiters for the amount of guests. We had to wait an excessively long time to be served and to pay.

The restaurant offers a fantastic view of the water and the staff provides excellent service, although they can be a bit clumsy at times due to their limited English-speaking abilities. The food served is of exceptional quality, especially the fish that is prepared right at the table. While the prices are a bit high, they are justified by the outstanding food. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, although not ideal for everyday dining while on a trip.

If it were possible, I would rate this place with 0 stars. I strongly advise against visiting here. While the view is breathtaking, everything else is extremely unpleasant. The waitstaff seemed disorganized, with waiters rushing around carrying plates without knowing which table they were meant for. Additionally, the lady at the cash register stood in the middle of the restaurant and shouted at the staff. We endured a wait of 1.5 hours for our food, while others who arrived after us left earlier. The clams and mussels were filled with sand and served at almost cold temperatures, and the shrimps were served while still frozen.

The beach had a beautiful location and offered a stunning view. Unfortunately, the staff was extremely unfriendly, including the cashier who I assumed was the manager. I would strongly advise against ordering the Hamburger as it consisted of a patty with three small potatoes and lacked any sauce, bread, salad, or any other accompaniments. The Pizza was also a disappointment, being both the worst I've ever had and quite expensive. We were the only foreign tourists in the restaurant, and it seemed apparent that we were not welcomed. On the other hand, the staff treated the other guests with kindness. Based on my experience, I can't help but conclude that they have a dislike towards foreigners.
