The beach is absolutely stunning and stretches out for a long distance, but it is covered in stones. There is plenty of parking available, and it's completely free! To reach the beach, you have to walk along a lengthy path that offers a breathtaking view from above. Although the beach is free, it is well-organized with a shuttle service that runs every 15 minutes to transport you to your desired location, and there are lifeguards on duty. The water is crystal clear and incredibly transparent. However, there is an area that is off-limits and cannot be accessed. The trabocco, a wooden platform with long arms and a net attached, extends out into the sea. It is a complex system with winches that allow the net to be submerged in the water and then pulled up with the catch. For some fishermen, the trabocchi also served as their homes, providing both a fishing spot and a place to live. I would recommend bringing rock shoes, an umbrella, and your own lunch as there are no refreshment points available.
