I went back again this year on my way back from Castiglione, Free beach with white sand, crystal clear sea, shallow and sandy seabed, easy for everyone, 10/20 m away. from the shoreline a low cliff nice to walk on do a bit of snorkelling and then dive into the open sea it looks like a swimming pool, always very clear and transparent water, Then the tower acts as a frame together with the beautiful pine forest...(Although not well maintained but for a break from the scorching sun it's fine). Coming from the car park I prefer to go left, Walking 5 minutes, It is much less frequented and the pine forest is much higher and more suggestive, the sea is always particularly clear. There are no showers and toilets. Tracked carts often pass by with ice cream, drinks and fresh cut fruit served on the spot. Parking for a day becomes challenging also considering that we are going to a free beach without services. I prefer it to the Follonica beach which is still very beautiful. I'll be back.
