A unique spot dating back to the time of Maria Theresa. While it might not appeal to everyone, it's worth noting that it's not the only beach in Trieste, so if it doesn't suit your taste, there are other options available. There's a small entrance fee (around €1.10). The beach features a kiosk, benches, and chairs. Since it's a pebbled beach, I recommend bringing water shoes to avoid discomfort.
I'm not entirely sure where families or single parents with children would go in this setting. I hope they aren't restricted to the women's section, as I personally find the noise from children quite bothersome.
Additionally, Italy faces challenges with non-Europeans who may not be familiar with local customs. It's not uncommon to see fully clothed or veiled women at the beach, even entering the sea this way, which I find unappealing. It's unfortunate that Europeans sometimes feel pressured to adapt to foreign customs in their own countries.
