The campsite is a small and tranquil spot located right on the shores of the stunning Lago di Caldonazzo. The nearby train is easy to get accustomed to and shouldn't deter you from visiting. The lake offers fantastic opportunities for swimming, sailing, stand-up paddleboarding, surfing, and more. Small motorboats are permitted, though they are not very common. You can rent surf equipment at the nearby harbor. On-site, there are two buildings equipped with showers, toilets, dishwashing, and laundry facilities. During my stay, these were cleaned once a day. Toilet paper was available most of the time. The facilities are decent; I've seen better, but also much worse. The pitches are reasonably sized compared to other Italian campsites, though not all offer ample shade. Cars are parked on the pitch if you're on the regular pitches, while those on the lakeside and just behind park their cars next to the 'main street,' still very close to your pitch. A small supermarket is just a 5-minute walk from the campsite, perfect for getting fresh bread every morning. Larger supermarkets and bakeries are easily accessible by car. There's also a small but well-stocked fruit and vegetable shop about a 10-minute walk away, offering high-quality products. The two nearby restaurants/hotels serve good food and offer takeaway coffee. The surrounding area is diverse and beautiful, offering something for everyone. From the larger city of Trento, with plenty to see, to the Lupa di Lagorai, various walking trails, and little markets, there's plenty to choose from. Overall, it's a fantastic place, and we will definitely return for another holiday.

Prime location right by the lake. The bathrooms are clean, though a bit cramped, but it's not a major concern. The spaces are adequate. We paid 45€ for a van, 2 adults, and a baby (who stays for free), which feels quite expensive. Electricity and hot water are included. There's a lovely walking and biking path nearby.

6 Pleasant

The toilets were extremely dirty and appeared to have not been cleaned during our 24-hour stay. The place is overcrowded, but the view from the beach is pleasant. The bikes are located at the back of the camp, farther from the beach.

4 Frustrating

This campsite offers a great starting point for hiking, cycling, swimming, and enjoying mountain views. However, the staff did not greet us upon arrival. While the showers were clean, they often only had cold water, and there was no toilet paper available. The camping spots lacked sufficient trees, making it very hot during the day, and they were cramped with cars parked around the tents. Additionally, you have to pay for WiFi, which had poor connectivity in the evening. The noise from the main road was also quite noticeable. On a positive note, there is an excellent restaurant located 300 meters from the campsite.

Beautifully situated by the lakeside! The mobile homes are not cheap, but the tent options are great. We had a wonderful stay, especially enjoying a swim at sunset. The receptionists were very helpful when we needed special assistance on a Sunday. Unfortunately, there were no coffee or drinks available in June, so we had to go to the next campsite for our morning espresso. It was a bit noisy at night due to traffic from the nearby highway, but thankfully, there were no trains.
