Paying 30,000 won for a personal shade area that isn't part of a designated beach facility seems steep. Additionally, life jackets are mandatory and come with a rental fee of 10,000 won, even for adults. For a single family, the total cost can reach around 100,000 won, and the rental fee is cash only with no receipt provided. Despite being a seasonal business, Yangyang Beach has gained significant popularity since surfing became well-known. However, if you head a bit further down to another beach, you might find it more comfortable and affordable. For instance, consider visiting Jigyeongni Beach.

There aren't many surfers out today, maybe because the waves are pretty mellow. However, there's a decent number of people camping around. The restroom was tidy and convenient to use.
