I enjoy taking walks along the beach. Unfortunately, the beach is currently closed, resulting in the disorganized state of the surrounding shops, which makes it somewhat dull. Nevertheless, it possesses a unique charm. However, it was a bit inconvenient to not have any available public restrooms.

This beach is absolutely breathtaking! It is one of the most gorgeous beaches in southern Korea. The beach stretches out with long white sand and boasts a stunning blue-green ocean. Geumildo island, where the beach is located, is primarily known for its seaweed industry rather than tourism, so it's not overly commercialized. It's quite a distance from the city, but you can easily reach it by taking a ferry from either goheung or yaksan.

Shipni Beach is a wide and long beach, as the saying goes. It is located in the south and has a large and wide area at the back. There is a windbreak pine forest, where you can find two small parks. However, the beach facilities, lodging, and food options nearby are a bit lacking. One thing I really like is the name "Daehakhwa" written on the beach. When I heard about it, I immediately looked for it. Unfortunately, the red blooming cherry blossoms are difficult to spot. If you visit in mid-May, you can still witness fishing villages drying kelp from all directions. Additionally, if you have some spare time, it's enjoyable to take a drive on the western coastal road of Geumdang Island, which is right next door.
